Kapu is one of the towns where GSB community is widely spreaded. there are around 150 families in Kapu and SVT is the place where all meet during functions. Among all festivals Karthik Punnav is the major event here. Those who are outside Kapu do not miss this festival. During Shravana Masa Flower Pooja is offered to the Lord till the end of the month.
